Spring Boards and Carousels are just two of the tools we use to help our skaters to become faster and stronger. We also use hurdles for balance as well as puck control drills. Belt and leash and tug of war rope for resistance training.

Doug Brown, a former college ice hockey coach, has coached numerous youth teams to success at NJ State and Mid Atlantic district playoffs as well as tournament championships. Doug has been teaching high paced, small class size, power skating classes in North Jersey for the past 17 years. Doug uses North American, European and speed skating techniques in his teachings. Proper technique and fundamentals are always the objectives of Doug Brown's Power Skating.
Laura Daniels is living proof that it’s never too late to start playing Ice Hockey! Starting in her early 20’s she put in the hard work and in just a few years she went from student to demonstrator to lead instructor at DBPS. Laura also played for a number of years for the Quarry Cats women’s hockey club. In the 2012/2013 season Laura’s team won the Division championship in the UWHL.
After moving to Indiana Laura is now the Director of Power Skating as well as Associate Hockey Director for the Junior Fuel Youth Hockey Organization at the Fuel Tank rink in Indiana.
Michaela started at DBPS at age 4 and was the youngest demonstrator/helpers ever in our classes.She finished her playing career at Manhattanville College before that she graduate from The Hotchkiss School … was the assistant captain for the hockey team … named a Founders League All-Star … also played for the Mid-Fairfield Connecticut Stars, winning the CHC Championship in 2013 with the Stars.
